Through education, dialogue and community cooperation, we can give children a safe and healthy future… ACP Rajneesh Verma said these things to the villagers and women in the Janchaupal organized in Hulaskheda village of Mohanlalganj Kotwali area in the presence of Inspector-in-Charge Alok Rao.
ACP Rajneesh Verma made the people present in the Chaupal aware about the POCSO Act and said that this law protects children against sexual crimes, under this there are various legal provisions which protect the rights of children. He said that parents should be alert towards the safety of their children.
They should promote open dialogue with children and inform them about safety measures. ACP appealed to the villagers to inform the police about the crimes happening around them so that the increasing crime can be stopped. In today’s digital age, misleading news spreads rapidly, it is necessary that we should exchange news only after identifying the truth.
ACP while making the villagers aware to avoid crimes related to land fraud said that before buying land, do check the land records in the revenue office, correct information will give you clarity about the ownership and history of the land and you will be able to avoid fraud.
While making people aware about cyber crimes, he said that if any unknown person calls you and asks for your information, then be alert. Such calls are often for fraud. Both security and awareness are necessary to avoid cyber fraud. By being alert, fraud can be avoided.
ACP also gave information about protection from crimes against women. Outpost in-charge Anoop Singh, Pradhan representative Abhishek Dixit along with villagers and women were present in Janchaupal.
